Thematic & Description
This crypt, found during the archaeological digs that took place between 2010 and 2012, allows visitors to discover an exceptional collection dating back to the Roman colony, Forum Iulii: a fish pond, its water supply system, arches of an aqueduct, a large reservoir. This area is the result of the shared desire of the developer contractor, the city of Fréjus and the State to feature these remains, unique in our region.
